What is a Presbyterian?

We believe that God alone is Lord of the conscience.  We believe that we are saved not by what we do, but by our faith in what God has done in Jesus Christ.  We trust the providence of God to be the guiding hand in our lives.

We are a grateful people, not just for our many blessings, but for God's saving love for us through Jesus Christ our Lord.

We gather together as Presbyterians to:

  • Worship God with hymns of praise and prayers of adoration.

  • Confess that we fall short of the life to which God calls us.

  • Rejoice in the good news of the gospel that in Jesus Christ we are forgiven.

  • Listen deeply to Scripture as God's Word to us and the central Word of our lives.

  • Pray into the heart of God.

  • Respond to God's Word to us with a life of ministry in our lives and through the life of the church in the world.

If the Spirit of God has led you to us to work and worship together as Christ's church in this place, we will count it our joy and blessing to share this faith journey with you.
