The congregation of First Presbyterian Church has always had a deep appreciation of music, and its Chancel Choir regularly contributes significantly to worship services. The choir, which rehearses in the sanctuary on Wednesday evenings from 6:30 - 7:30 p.m., sings an anthem most Sundays from September through May (generally, no anthem is presented on one Sunday of each month). The church has an extensive music library including a wide range of styles and composers of music, from classic to contemporary. New members are always enthusiastically welcomed.
