Prayer Requests

"Are you sick or broken hearted?  Call the church for prayer!"
James 5:14
The Message

Most members of our church have had first-hand experience with the power of prayer. We also witness to the tremendous aspect of prayer being offered by the congregation.  You may submit a prayer request, and the pastors and members of the prayer tree will enfold these requests in their loving thoughts and prayers. Unless expressly stated otherwise, individuals' identities remain confidential.  Our God listens and responds to our needs, and we are grateful to pray for you.

Broken
(submitted by mike cotton on 1/25/2012 at 03:22 PM)
Hello, My name is Mike and I'm Going thru a bitter divorce, costly beyond measure as well as my funds have been depleted and hardly the strength most days to continue with the mounting stress that’s involved. I'm praying the Lord gives me the strength and wisdom to endure this horrible tragedy. I never would have thought in my life I would be a client of divorce. Praying and asking God for his mercy and grace, help, and direction. I couldn't be more broken at this junctior in my life. Please if you would add me to your prayer list, asking God and his people for answered prayers. God Bless You and his Church. Truly, Mike Brother in Christ Proverbs 17:17
Prayers during Lent
(submitted by Keith Smith on 12/28/2011 at 03:36 PM)
Dear Friends, I am one of a small group of pastors helping to coordinate a prayer effort to encourage and spiritually support the “church-behind-the-wall” in state and federal prisons during Lent of 2012. (February 22 to April 8, 2012). During this period of time incarcerated Christians will be praying for the “church-outside-the-wall” while a number of congregations will be praying for them. We are calling this effort The Gift of Prayer. Would it be possible that someone on your prayer team or another member(s) of your congregation might be willing to pray each day during Lent for the Christian prisoners, staff, and “believers-yet-to-be” in one particular prison? If so, would you please advise us as to the name of the federal or state prison for which you will be praying or, if you prefer, we would be willing to suggest the name of a facility for you to incorporate into your ministry of prayer.
